POPIA and how we protect your delivery data

Proof of delivery contains names, signatures, photos and addresses — personal information under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Here is how InvoiceTrak looks after it.

Only the right people see a delivery

The company, its team members, the assigned driver and the customer can see a delivery. Nobody else can — this is enforced by the database itself, not just the screens.

Private proof storage

Invoices, signatures and photos are stored privately. Viewing links are created on request and expire within an hour or a few days, depending on where they're shared.

Full audit trail

Driver assignments, status changes, invoice edits, receipts and comments are logged with who did it and when — useful evidence for disputes and claims.

Location only when needed

Location is checked at arrival to confirm the driver is at the delivery address. Live driver sharing is optional and switched on by the driver.

Encrypted connections

All traffic between your phone or computer and InvoiceTrak is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are checked against known leaked-password lists.

Email only to people on the delivery

Proof emails go only to the receiver, customer and driver linked to that delivery. We don't sell or share your contacts for marketing.

Who is responsible for what

Your company is the responsible party for the receiver and customer information it captures. Isizwe Capital (Pty) Ltd t/a InvoiceTrak acts as the operator, processing that information only to provide the service on your behalf.
